Hello,
I would like to hear from those listening to TPS north of the city.What type of antenna do you use ?I can RX Peel at my location in Angus but not TPS.I use a yagi mounted at 30ft and a watson WRP1300 Preamp.

i live in oshawa and im using a max 8135,pick up York region really well also.

I forgot to mention that I also pick up York Region but at times weak unless I point the yagi directly there instead of south towards Peel region.

Not surprising, since you're only 45 km from the nearest Peel tower and it's on high ground (440 mASL). So figure the antenna is close to 500 mASL.

but not TPS.

The only transmitter site you'd have a chance at hearing (First Canadian Place) is 85 km distant. The antenna is only about 380 mASL. Meanwhile, you're sitting at only 200 mASL (ouch!) and that dirt pile called the escarpment, at about 300 mASL, is blocking your path. Add in the curvature of the earth over an 85 km hop and it's not looking good.
