A day at the zoo in August got me the following on Close Call...

In brackets are the comms that I heard, but I'm beginning to think they have an LTR system? They appear to be using HT1250's.

467.6625 71.9 (Assuming this is GMRS, just grabbed the wrong freq)

Wouldn't have thought they'd use radios to communicate.

I wonder if this is a trunked frequency.

If it was an LTR system, there wouldn't be PL tones.

Thanks.. yeah, I checked those out, but I'm wondering more what the frequencies that my scanner caught without PL/DPL tones. Thanks for the laugh - "trunking" frequency.

Actually I am heading out to the Zoo sometime either late this week or early next week so I am going to check out what you have gotten.
