Torrington PD frequencies!

I heard from somebody in town today, who is into scanning , that Torrington PD have more than one frequency that they conduct business on? is this true? If so please let me know.

I guess I meant to say they have other frequencies not listed anywhere on the net for raids and other sensitive business...

The second frequency 857.7625 - I was told serval years ago - that this frequency is "ENC"
Can't confirm because I never programmed that frequency in my scanner.

TPD may have a separate detective's freqency that is not listed. But, I have heard them use 856.7375 all the time and only when they are doing something "large-scale" do they go to 857.7625. The reason you may not hear them all the time on dispatch is they use Nextel extensively to communicate with each other.
