I drove past this tower on Mantoloking Rd in Brick by the Mantoloking bridge. I was wondering what those Yagi looking antennas are for, besides receiving and transmitting RF. Are they part of the Coast Guards radio system? I know the USCG can triangulate reception to try to locate a boat transmitting to a geographic area to try to find them. But the antennas seem to be pointing mostly to the west and north west. Thanks.

Looks like it's an old Cablevision site according to FCC records, 96 Mantoloking Rd (now occupied by Mantoloking Collision). News 12 was licensed there as well.

You know I thought they looked like TV antennas, but didn't think they could be.
So how did it work? Did it pick up local OTA channels and send it off to the local cable company?
How do I find out whos on a tower?
There's a tower at 1470 Hooper Ave in Toms River that I've been trying to figure out, I think it's a radio station. I drive by it and loose FM radio.
Thanks

91.1 WWNJ-FM, Classical music. Also an old cable TV tower, this one for Comcast.
