towers jail

looking for the freq's for the jail @ 37th and lower buckeye rd . wondering if i could hear the traffic in the east valley . a very close friend of mine work's there but he doesn't know the freq's but carries a handheld every place he goes to .

In the SWFD9 it says those talkgroups are:

Durango-A-2064
Durango-B-2069
Durango-C-2128
Durango-D-2160
Durango-E-2192
Durango-F-2224(Training)
Durango-G-2256(Emergency)
Durango-H-3600(announce)

Control channel- 859.2625

Thats just a random control channel that would probably work if your in the east valley.

For Durango Jail, you would actually need to use the Durango Jail tower site, whose control channels are 868.850, 868.875, and 868.8125 according to SWFD9 (www.ArizonaScanner.com). The Jails talkgroups are not broadcast over the towers outside the area of the Jail, so you are unlikely to hear Durango in the East Valley.

On April 15, 2005 they are opening up the LBJ (Lower Buckeye Jail @ 35th & Lower Buckeye Rd) I do not kow if they will be on there own TG or sharing with someone else for the time being. Also the 4th ave Jail should be open that day too. It is next to Madison.
