Looking for the frequency for B&T Towing (Wayne County) and also 313 Towing (Wayne County). Have searched the database and not been able to find those two companies.

Any assistance would be welcomed,

All the towiing downriver seems to be Nextels anymore. Even the ones that show having VHF or UHF licenses are just using cellphones. That may be where your two are.

You are correct most have gone to nextel its the same way in the trash biz. we use these odd looking nextel mobile units that look like the old cell bag phones and the small cell phone nextels for all machanics and bosses.

I sometimes wonder if money could be made by coming up with a under dash mounted radio for Nextel and Sprint PTT. External keypad mike, external speaker, good gain roof antenna. Much better range than a handheld PTT cellphone, don't need to worry about a dead battery anymore, etc.

.... thats what we got at waste management they look like a two way radio or a (old bag phone) with a telephone hand set and push to talk button and a keypad on the back of the handset you can talk on it like a phone useing the push to talk or leave it on the cradle and just hit the ptt it has a motorola speaker .but only work as a nextel no cell phone operation at all .

Gotcha. I got a nephew that used to work for GM Freight. His handheld Nextel was the same way, simply a two way radio. He couldn't even hear the other Nextels that were about and about, just the dispatcher. And like yours, no dialing out.
