I've noticed NDP responding to all EMS calls in the Wingdale, Dover Plains area. What ever happen to the ambulances used by the fire house? Are they not in use anymore?

Northern Dutchess was contracted a few years back for daytime EMS protection. 71 and 72 aren't getting out at night?
It depends on the call, the districts in that area have their own Ambulances but they are BLS only. If its a ALS call the ALS agency that is contracted out will also be dispatched along with the fire districts ambulance if the district has one. In Beekman and Unionvale that area is covered by transcare along with the local FD's ambulance. Usually the contracted ALS rig will call out as XX-79. So say if you hear unionvale 67-79 responding that is actually a Transcare Rig that is Contracted out by the fire district it self. Beekman 34-79 and Pawling 56-79 are contracted by the towns them selfs.
