Town of Plainville Public Works Frequencies

Greetings:

I have a Bearcat BCD436HP - the published frequencies for Public Works and Sewer Department do not work. Just wondering if anyone was successful with tuning theses frequencies in. I've tried just about every combination.

Good morning PJ. The public works freqs do infact work. But there is no PL as listed in RR. Happy monitoring.

Make sure you have the proper "Service Types" enabled

I've never heard anything on them either, I'll try removing the PL.

I was actually thinking of posting about Plainville the other day too and wanted to see if anyone else noticed. I've noticed some changes on the PD, like using the backup channel more (maybe it was repeating or just a mistake?) and I noticed less details being read OTA (names, call details).

True, and cell phones. I always imagined I'd hear less than I did, in the past week or so procedures seemed to change. I could care less about the names, was just wondering if there were any other possible system changes in the works. Wait and see I guess.
