TPS 'Transit Enforcment'

Saw a TPS cruiser marked 6602 Transit Patrol, two officers where bringing a guy out of the dundas subway station in cuffs. TTC chief supervisor was on scene, no TTC SC though.

I've heard a rumor that TPS is absorbing the TTC enforcement guys, giving them guns and new uniforms, and then throwing them back into the system. Anyone heard the same?

BTW, the transit police can be found on 52-D52 and 5C-5HQ.

I have not heard anything about that. I do know that TPS has 3 marked Transit Patrol cars 6601,6602,6603
This is a new programme.They work out of Traffic Services. to have a visible presence @ troubled TTC stations . ( This info I got from inside the TPS) I'll ask my source about it.
