The Colorado State Patrol says two men died after the truck they were riding in collided with a train. It happened Tuesday afternoon just east of Rocky Ford.

57-year-old Fred Grano of Rocky Ford was driving the truck northbound on Otero County Road 20.5 when he didn't yield the right of way at a marked railroad crossing, and he pulled out in front of a train. The train pushed the truck along the tracks before the truck went of the tracks and rolled. Grano was ejected and his passenger, 35-year-old Theodore Torres of La Junta, was also ejected. Both men died at the scene. They were not wearing seat belts.

No one in the train was hurt.
