Train Derailment Blocking Highway 85 South of Platteville

A train ran into a chemical truck for Halliburton near Highway 85 and Weld County Road 30 about fifteen minutes ago (around 5:30 AM). Ten train cars have derailed off the track. Several derailed train cars are lying across the highway and are blocking all of North bound Highway 85 traffic just South of Platteville!

There are no injuries from the train derailment incident.

The track is heavily damaged so it may take some time to fix the track and upright the railroad cars back onto the track. It sounds like this will be an all day incident.
