Trans-Am Ambulance Olean NY

Trans-Am Ambulance just switched to a Saia Communications trunked radio system in Olean NY. I am unable to locate any Info other than freq's listed in FCC database. Is there anybody out there that can help.

If it is the same system as Rural Metro in Niagara and Erie Counties, I don't think a scanner can track it.

Live in Catt County, and Trans-Am is a local provider in my area. Unfortuntely they have gone to an encrypted signal. No way to pick up via any type of scanner. Signal is password protected and can only be received by their units....

That sounds like the kind of BS that would be repeated by an employee who did not understand what they were being told about the radio system, or perhaps just repeating misinformation from someone else.
