Transfering Dsp version from one pro-96 to another pro-96

If I update a new verison in a Pro-96 can I sucessfully transfer the new version from the first scanner to another Pro-96 just by cloning the content from the first one to another Pro-96? Do I need to download the new version to the second one independently?

You have to do them separately. You can clone frequency information but not update firmware.
