To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to transfer analog frequency data from a UV-32 to a DM-32? With the aid of CPS and Chirp I've got my UV-32 setup exactly how I want it - now I want to transfer the data over to the DM-32 as a baseline load before using CPS to hand key in all the DMR data.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that the file structures of the two radios, one being analog-only and one being analog/DMR, might be quite different. Are the filename extensions the same?
I suppose that you could import each type to Excel as .csv's and cut and paste using the DM32 file as an example for the proper location(s) of the analog data.

The two radios are completely different. They share a case, but internally they are not the same radio in any way. You cannot share files from one radio to the other.
