Will be making a company trip to ABQ, Taking I 40 through Gallup and Grants. I have looked at database and about to make a favorites list and do any locals have any tips or hints for monitoring NMSP (highway patrol) also is ABQ still on EDACS ?

You will need 155.79 base and 155.73 car for the Gallup/Grants area. You will only hear the car when close to you.
What Simulcast do I use.. City ? county... not recieving any PD but getting fire alarm..Albuquerque is on the Edacs/Provoice system, most channels are open.

I scan both,. You need the Provoice upgrade, you're just getting the analog Edacs. Most traffic is digital. Go to myUniden - Login and get the upgrade. Will cost $60 and you will get it within in minutes of paying.
Just got it in there kind sir.. kinda an ashame have to pay 50 bucks more after paying over 700.. Working great
