Traveling I-57 from stateline to Chicago

What ISP Freqs do I need in my scanner (pro 92). Will be traveling from tennessee to great lakes navy base. Thanks for the help.

There are a ton of them. All mobile extenders are 155.505, I-Reach is 155.055, ISPERN is 155.475, And you can pick out any of the ones in the following link....

Traveling I-57 from stateline to chicago

Two weeks ago on a saturday morning, I traveled I-57 from mile marker 327 to mile marker 54. The number of Illinois State Troopers seen on highway or heard on scanner = 0 :shock: . On the return trip sunday morning, number of ISP troopers seen or heard = 0 :roll: . Happy Scanning!

IL State Police tend to run concentrated enforcement details on various Interstates at varying times. I have seen several on I-57 thru District 21 (Ashkum, the Kankakee area) and District 10 (Pesoutom, the Champaign area). They will gather 10 or 20 troopers and run bith directions with chase cars with either air or ground units calling out the violators.

42.50, 155.460 and and local district channels are all used for these details.

Thanks for all the help guys. I had just about non stop traffic the whole way. Heard lots of interesting things. BTW I used a Pro 92 with a MFJ dual band external antenna and had no problem recieving.
