Will be traveling into the great state of Oklahoma by car north to south on I35 later next month and looking to monitor DPS (State Troopers) while I travel.

Is DPS on P25 digital? LMR? VHF? Lowband?

Assistance is appreciated.

You want Troop K at the border of Kansas and AFAIK it is still (Hasn't joined the 800 sytem yet) lowband,RadioReference.com - Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference Database
Then you need to go to Okwin Motorola, mixed anaolog/P25 for the rest of the way to Texas.
Oklahoma Wireless Interoperability Network (OKWIN) Motorola Trunking System, Various, Oklahoma - Scanner Frequencies
Troop A Rural and Metro in and out of OKC. Troop G Lawton to get to the Texas Border:

Even Though Troop K shows up on the OKWIN System it is supposed to be lowband, but you might load the 800 just in case!

Excellent. That is what I needed to know. Talking with a local is always the best way to get the answers.

Thanks again!
