Traveling to Guatemala - rules for GMRS/FRS or similar radios?

I am traveling with a group to Guatemala, while I am a licensed HAM, I am the only one in the group that is. We are interested in using GMRS or FRS radios but would like to find out any rules regarding their use.

Internet searching has turned up no information. Anyone have any info?
