HI, I'm travelling to Houlton from CT in a couple of weeks. So, I thought I'd put MSP for the Maine Turnpike into my BCD325P2. I opened up freescan and was hoping to do a quick download and saw that wasn't going to be the case! When I went to" Import Trunked Systems" for Maine I entered Statewide and clicked on MSCOMMNET, I got the two windows to make choices from, the left window looked like the different transmit sites throughout the state so I clicked "all". Then in the right window, I was looking for MSP Maine Turnpike Patrol, no such luck. So I'm wondering if someone out there with a lot of patience can tell me what to pick.

Do you need just the P25 Control Channels and the scanner will figure out the rest or do you need the entire enchilada?

Here is the MSCOMMNET Network

I just submitted updates to some of the control channels, but already today, Harris techs came through again and changed Bangor around again. Bangor CC is 170.6750 now.

Here is a link to a pdf that will show you the tower sites you will be going by on your drive. CONOPS & Interoperability 3.0 with Region Nets October 2017

I monitor through computer software, I'm lazy, everything fills in for me. I'm sure someone will post up how to download the everything.

I give up on the Harris guys, I won't bother saying what the Control channel is anymore. Bangor is back on 172.3125. They have been working quite a bit up here.

IN many of the newer systems ANY freq can be the control channel, always best to enter ALL from a site to be a control channel, so always add them ALL for each SITE - and this is NOT "M" specific, so do not blame Harris

Thank you for the replies! I think I’ll just make a favorite list of fire and EMS from some towns and cities along my route that are still conventional.

Turnpike covers Zone 1 and Zone 2 which is Gray and Augusta. The TG for turnpike is listed under zone 1 talkgroups.
