I live a mile or so south of the UP tracks that run parallel to US-79. I've looked at the RRDB, but knowing nothing about train radio operations, I have no clue what channels to program in or what to listen to.

I'm not a railfan, but would like to hear the traffic (if any) of trains going through the area. A lot of those trains are going to the new Samsung chip plant in Taylor as construction is using a lot of construction material.

I'd appreciate any information, tips, help, whatever.
