Frequency is 166.4625 MHz. I see PL tones 100.0 Hz and 103.5 Hz listed for it, but cannot figure out the proper PL because I am out of range of the repeater. Can someone please listen and find out what PL tone is used on this frequency? Thanks.

Also, can someone please post the PL tone used by US Customs on 169.4500 MHz?

You might as will listen in CSQ

Joe,

166.4625 is a simplex channel. It's not just the Treasury Department's (who used 103.5) anymore. It's also used by the Department of Homeland Security as a 'common' channel (using 100.0) or an 'interop' channel (using csq). A certain part of the Justice Department has popped up on this frequency too - using their favorite transmit tone of 167.9

Customs used to use 100.0 on TCOM, but now that it's is DHS COM they transmit without PL.

169.450 is PL 100.0.

169.4450 MHz is a common wireless microphone frequency. Is it possible you were hearing that?
