Just had a another strong storm come thru our neck of the woods and took out a tree in my front yard along with my 8 element yagi. I had just moved my car out to the street about 10 minutes before it came down or would it have been totaled.

We went through the same thing here in West Tennessee early yesterday morning. No power and lots of trees down. The generator received a good work out for about 10 hours. I hope you and your family get through this OK.

Thankfully no damage to the antenna was tangled in tree branches and just pulled the coax out of the connector. Got the tree cut up and working on getting it to the burn pile. Still have two outside cameras not working, but that can wait till tomorrow.

Looks like you had some good luck with light damage. I see some large trees very close to the house glad they did not come down.

BTW - great move on getting the car out of harms way! I'm always stunned when I see pictures of damaged and or flooded cars when a hurricane comes. Hurricanes have a lot more warning then you would have gotten and still people leave their cars out in harms way then wounder what to do after the storm passes.

Tree all cut up and piled up to be burnt. Fixed coax to yagi, and got all camera's working.

The heat and humidity is horrible, we usually don't get this type of heat till July, but May has been breaking records almost everyday.

Now for a shower, some lunch and a severe NAP this afternoon!
