Hi Folks:
Are there any rumors about the posibility of Trenton PD changing from vselp to APCO25? I thought that by now they would be making arrangments to upgrade.

Unfortunately that wont be for quite some time. The XTS3000 has another few years of support left.

It will be interesting to see how fair rebanding. There is only a handful of VSELP system still in use and only a couple are on 800 MHz so we will see if Motorola bothers to release a rebanded firmware with the VSELP DSP. They have to reflash all their equipment anyway, seems like as good a time as any to upgrade to IMBE.

BRIAN99 asked if anyone heard any rumors about them switching. Is that a rumor that you heard ? That they would wait until they started having problems with the current system ? Just curious. I think he was looking for some concrete information rather than an opinion.
