Does anyone know if you can use the Treo line of phones to program or remote run or in any way manipulate any one of the computer adaptable scanners on the market. Can the Treo even be hooked up to a scanner? If so, this would ebviously affect my decision to purchase a Treo. Any info will help. Thanks.

The Treo comes in a "p" or a "w", the latter running windos mobile so you can sync up to your computer but to what extent I don't know. Nor do I know if there is a way to physicly hook the two together. Would be kinda cool though!

Thanks Nexus. I guess Scanner Master would be the place to start. The treo does have some sort of flash drive you can hook to it so I'm thinking if you could mate the scanner and the phone, you could run software for programming. Anyone else tried this?
