Tri-Band Antenna from Ham Radio Outlet

Has anyone ever used the Tri-Band Antenna NMO 150/450/800 from Ham Radio outlet? Is this a good all around scanner antenna? The frequency range is 150-165, 450-470, 800-940. It is a 2.14 dBi gain +_ 1 dBi.

Attached is the file. it is a pdf format. The antenna is on the bottom left hand side of page 100.

Yep - I have one and am impressed w/ performance on those particular bands. It actually does a somewhat fair job on VHF-Low (obviously not designed to cover this band). You'll be happy with it.

I have had one as well for about 6 months and it works great. I use it for vhf hi and uhf mainly with an occasional 800 turnk system thrown in..

OK, thanks all. I guess when I get paid I will take a ride to the store and get one. Did you guys get it from Ham Radio Outlet, or another store that sells scanner antennas and how much did it cost?

Yes, I got it from HRO.

$25 and change plus $13 for the mount.
