Their dispatch frequency is NXDN. They have a talkgroup on the TACN. Is it dispatch? Do I need the NXDN upgrade?

The analog frequency of 154.355 is still there MAIN Dispatch and ops freq and so Hamilton County dispatches (tactical call sign: Tri Comm) them on this freq that is sometimes simulcasted to the 800mhz TG (The 800 TG was used very heavily during the tornado response and ops with the same audio as 154.355) It is called “Repeater 2” in there field radios.

The digital freq is used mostly for inter-department communications which is named
“Repeater 1” in the field radios.
