Hello , would any one have any up to date Forestry radio frequencies for Jefferson-Shelby-an St Clair countys in Alabama ????
Is a 5 Khz the same as NFM ????
I am trying to add a few to my Duel Band mobil Ham rig and also my scanner.
Not real sure it can be done in the Mobil Ham Rig and they work right ????
I ran across the R R list and I have had those programed in my rigs for a long time but I never hear any traffic on them. So before I delete them all I just wanted to check them out first.
I live very close to the county lines of all three of these countys. So I thought I would try to check out all three.
TNX

Try these :

Pretty quite during non fire season .
Keep in mind since its a state agency .
May use southern linc . Aka southern stink
On the 5 khz .
I am not 100 percent sure .
It could be 7.5 khz for narrow band .

TNX medic9351301 for the information, I will be checking those frequencies out.
Never had thought about the seasons maybe having an effect on it , but I can see how it would.
TNX again.
