Trip to Round Top Tx

Greetings, I'm heading to Round Top, Texas in a few weeks, I've got a new 246t, and I'm looking for good info on the systems down there. I've looked in the RR database and it appears they are on the LCRA system. Anyone monitor them?

Refresh my memory...is Round Top in Fayette or Lee county? Or am I thinking about something totally different

It's a very small town in Fayette county. I'm going there to give a presentation and I'm driving, thought I'd load up my new 246t and try it out on the trip, thanks!

Ok, I'm from Caldwell County which is just west of Fayette. The County VFD's are still VHF 154.430 and county EMS is 462.950

Fayette Co SO is on the LCRA system, but I think they still simulcast on 154.740.

I would also look at Lee, Washington, Austin, and Colorado counties, from Round Top, you should be able to pick up radio traffic from all those counties
