Hello,

Here are some pix of the mobile setup. Using a panavise for the base and cellphone holder for the HH's. There is a cellular magnet mount antenna on roof.

How does that Wilson work for you?
FANTASTIC! No ISSUES! My primary monitoring interest is 800 MHz, but the Wilson does a fantastic job on UHF and VHF Low and High, something I did not expect. I would like a NMO mount but since I won't keep the truck much longer, I will settle for a magmount.

whats the ANT. on the D396T and do you find it better then the "stock" ANT.
Hello,

It's the RadioShack 20-283 800 MHz Antenna. Yes, it is far superior than the stock antenna. But what works better than the RadioShack 20-283 is the Wilson Cellular Antenna. I use a FME to SMA Adapter on the BCD396T when I am not using BC785D.

Hey Dave,
I think its time for you to take off the original screen protection now;) It looks great!
Where did you get the back antenna mount?
Take care

LOL! :)

At HRO. Its the Diamond K412CNMO Hatch/Trunk/Hood Mount. It will handle NMO antennae up to 45".

How well does your gps unit perform in that spot? I have the same model and found that I had to keep it on the dash, otherwise I never really get a good signal.

No Issues. Accurate to 15 feet. I just test drove it today after installing Ram-Mount, down Rt 1, and I-95 North and South. The GPS is attached to a Panavise Indash No Holes Drilled VS Mount and Cell Phone Holder.

I was going to order the Windshield Mount from Garmin, but since there was no problem with present position of GPS, I will hold off for now. Now, I have to see if a passenger would interfere with the GPS. :)

Thanks for the kind words folks. :)

Dave, What did you use to convert the wilson to an NMO mount??
Nothing. You can buy the DB819 in a NMO Mount for $25.00.

Well, I happened to use my last PDA Screen protector on my BR330T. When I have some time I will pick some up.

Have you heard any info on the Wilson Y881 super gainer antenna? It's a rubber duckie thin version.
