Troop A 3 Com and Cape May NJICS

With all storms etc I've been trying to monitor NJSP activity in Upper and Dennis on the NJICS. I know the simulcast with the NJSP system isnt fully functional, but I was hoping to at least get Woodbine via the Cape May tower site....monitoring the NJSP normally has too much traffic. I'm getting absolutely no traffic on the 3 Com and 10 Com talk group's on NJICS...Cape May tower. Any one have any success or insight...thx

Remember that NJSP talkgroups on the NJICS will not be live unless a radio has affiliated to them.

Is it also tower/site dependent as well??

Yes. You will only hear traffic from the 800 system on the 700 system if a radio is affiliated with a particular talkgroup at a particular site. Otherwise, silence.
