I have a BC780XLT scanner. I'm trying to program local trunking systems into the scanner. I downloaded the Proscan software and I'm able to connect with my scanner remotely with an RS232 to USB cable. When I try to import from the radio Reference database everything seems to be working. I select the trunk systems I want and click "Import", my checkmarks go away but my scanner is still empty. In Proscan I click on the Database tab, Bank 1, click upload to scanner, but the data isn't to be found.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there another software program I should use?
I'm new to this but I have good computer skills.
Please help.

When you imported, did you select channel 1 as the starting channel? In the database tab, are there frequencies in the bank 1 channels and talk group id's in the bank 1 trunk list?

After the system is selected in the RR import dialog box, click on "RR Web Page" and post the URL so I can look at it.
