Trouble monitoring Westchester trunked system on uniden scanners

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to hear the talkgroups on the Westchester county trunked system on my uniden scanners. I have control channel set at 476.2375, Motorola UHF trunked system with the following trunking tables
470.000 12.5 380
476.000 12.5 520

I can monitor the same system on my PSR-500, but not on my uniden scanners.

I was wondering if anyone else experience the same problem or not...

They actually have two systems, north and south, each with its own control channel. Depending on which model Uniden you have, you need to set it up as 2 separate systems or two sites within one system. The base and offsets you have are correct. The frequencies can be found on this site's database.

I am only monitoring the South system. I can pick up the control channel fine, but both of my Uniden scanners just won't track it even with the right table data loaded. They track the DOITT UHF system without another problem though.

You have to put the upper freq in also
And make sure you choose Motorola Custom/ Reband, not Motorola UHF
Here is what I use in my 396XT and it tracks fine (NORTH & SOUTH systems )
