BCD325P2/BCD996P2: trouble programming.

i just got my scanner and i have spent 5 hours trying to program with no luck.im using freescan to try it.i dont think i have any idea what im doing.i should mention its a bcd 996p2

Are you doing manually or downloading from RR?

If you are new I would recommend the latter.

im using rr and freescan to try it now

well don't know what to tell ya, freescan is the easyest programing software to use that i have found. be aware that freescan does not support dmr. just keep on trying you will end up learning freescan just like i did. by trial and error.. there are some good vids on you tube that show you how to.. step by step.

i was able to figure it out.i was missing usig the radio reference part and importing.i got it going in about 10 minutes.thanks to all of you guys for the help
