I am having trouble programming a whistler 1040 with PSRedit500 for the Indiana, Tippecanoe County https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=9099 P25 system. I have added the trunking objects, a few talkgroups just to test it and I'm not picking up anything, no sound from the scanner. Volume is maxed, squelch has been adjusted to none and just past the point of an S displayed on screen. I have tried entering the system in a number of different ways, and am just not having any luck. Attached is the PSRedit500 .bin. Any help would be appreciated. Only reason i have held off on a RR sub is I'm wondering if this scanner can even work on this system.

After my previous post I continued to pound my head against this and searched the forums again coming across this post http://forums.radioreference.com/in...-25-system-tippecanoe-county.html#post2684843 . Adding the extra frequencies seems to have fixed my issue, adding all the talk groups i wanted also seems to have been successful. There is 1 alternate control frequency and 1 extra frequency in the linked post that do not show up https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=9099 here on the main page and adding those worked for me. Thank you to everyone that viewed and were in the process of helping me. Attached is my final version Tippecanoe County P25 Stage 1 system .bin. Just in case anyone after this searches the forums and wants to give it a try.

Welcome to the forum! Since you now know your WS1040 can handle the Tippecanoe Phase 1 system, I'd go ahead and sign up for the RR subscription. If you're reluctant, just do a 6 month sub to get your feet wet, and your scanner programmed. I program my RadioShack PRO-651 (the RS variant of the 1040) also using PSREdit500. With a subscription, I don't worry about the finer details of my local county P25 system. I simply download to the software, upload to the scanner, and enjoy.
