Trouble with SDRSharp v1.0.0.1732

This Monday, I finished building my antenna and was super excited to connect to the NOAA 15 satellite. Got set up and opened SDRSharp for the first time... only to find it couldn't detect the NESDR Smart SDR I'm using. I've talked to a friend and installed the current drivers for it through Zadig, and I've ran the install-rtlsdr.dll file, which I've just noticed says "Access is denied. 0 file(s) moved..."

Anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix this?

Did you run the windows batch file found in the sdr# download, it sets up SDR# to see and use dongles.

is it a different file from the rtlsdr.dll file? If so, what's it called?

You talked about rtlsdr.dll file... not about running the install-rtlsdr.bat ???

can you confirm you do not have usb dongle on the dropdown menu?

I mistyped the file type. It is a batch, not a dll. Also, the dropdown is grayed out

You might just try reinstalling SDR#. If you don't already have this info on how to do it see the link. I just did the download with no problems. Hope this helps: Quick Start Guide

Just tried uninstall and reinstall. Same issue. Honestly, I'm thinking it might be the SDR might be faulty

Okay, never mind! It suddenly started working, and I think the uninstall helped! Thank you so much!
