trouble with the pro 164

I do not have a computer were i can set the trunk freq up yet. A couple of time when i put them in the t blink off andf on when i am scanning. I do not hear a thinq on that radio but i do on another one. What am i doing wrong here?

Try to explain a little more clearly what you are experiencing. It sounds like you are not programming the bank in MOT mode, or, the frequencies in MOT mode. Read the easier to understand manual for the 97 here in the Wiki section. They are basically the same radio.
