Will the true I/Q technology enhanced uniden and whistler new scanners help conventional p25 digital reception. have a rs pro 197 , digital p25 conventional comes in clear , but rarely distorts audio.

As long as your scanner is hearing what you want clear and you have no other formats DMR NXDN P25 PHASE 2 then you have no reason to upgrade unless you have the spare money and want a new toy to play with.
