Trunk problem on BCD536HP

I keep seeing this message:

No System Destination
System Has Not Been Loaded
Please Change System

I have several favorites that have trunk frequency.

The one I use the most is called "CT STATE POLICE" is this not the system name?

Help me to get my Trunk Working.

First things first. Have you done all of the necessary firmware upgrades associated with your radio? If not, I strongly suggest that you do so. If there are other things you need to do in the manual, do so.

I went into Sentinel and program the CT state police trunking system in less than 10 minutes.

If this is all you want, I can program it and send it back via email. I can walk you through the installation of the Favorite if you like. From the looks of it, it is a very small statewide system with a few full and part-time encrypted channels. Also, make sure you have your profile like you like because if you haven't checked the various service groups (i.e., law talk, law tactical, etc.), you won't much. I can send you examples to follow via email.

Of course, it might be useful to tell me what area of CT you want to have programmed. You might include a county as well. When I programmed the state police, I was shocked to find that the Department of Corrections and several other agencies were in this group. Do you want them alongside the troopers or only troopers. I don't know if the DMV is associated with enforcement.

Well I did see that the Firmware needed an upgrade. So I did a full update and database and I rebooted with cable not connected so it will update. Well I tried Trunk and I still see that error.

I found the problem as I was not entering the name properly . Now I see that it must be done by " New Name" and not through Profile.

CT has their statewide systems under the CT police.

Do you only want Troopers and the Attorney General? I don't listen to the Department of Corrections. Also, the only administrative talk group has a law service type. The other two are public services.

Each one of the service types needs to be checked if you are going to be listening to that service or want to use the radio with GPS.

If you have no interest in railroad, I would uncheck such.

You see, you have to set the profile to "monitor and download" your system. If the various things you have programmed show "off", it won't get entered into the radio.
