I was talking to a couple of people I know in Dinwiddie County today and they were telling me that Dinwiddie has gone to a trunked digital system.

The thought 'HMMMMM...No WONDER I haven't been picking up much trafffic from that end of the world' came immediately to mind!

They weren't sure of the frequencies, and nothing appears ib the RR Database, so it must be pretty recent. Apparently they're still simulcasting on the old high band frequencies, as I did pick up a couple of dispatches while I was over that way today.

Does anyone know anything about their (Alleged) new system?

Dinwiddie is p25 digital, but not trunked. BTW-their coverage on this new system is super!!
try 151.085 for sheriffs dispatch.
Thanks!..how about Fire/EMS? Still the old frequencies, just now digital?

How long ago did Dinwiddie pull the switch? Last time I knew anything abotu Dinwiddie, the system was still sitting in the install shop all set up...Probably 2 years ago, at least.
