I ran a discovery on a system I recently programmed using FCC data. A good number of the recordings are 0-seconds with no audio, but show the TGID and Radio IDs. Is this an indication that I missed one or more frequencies when I set up the system? This was my first discovery scan as I try to learn. Thanks!

I have ran this against our EDACS system and also found the same at times. I have all the sites setup right as they scan fine. I think it might be a bug with discovery mode?

I see the same situation when Discovery Mode finds an encrypted channel (usually) or when it's unable to decode the audio (possibly simulcast distortion, or not good enough signal).

Or when the voice channel cannot be tuned-to due to incomplete or incorrect LCN list, etc.

Is the system extremely busy and/or does the system use RAS? I've noticed similar issues with my scanner on systems that are either super busy and/or have RAS enabled.
