Police Dispatch always uses an 800MHz frequency from their allocated trunked frequencies (listed Below). I've never seen it use any of the 700MHz voice channels, why is that? Also, Muskegon Fire Dispatch does the opposite and uses only 700MHz voice channels. I have a feeling it has to do with the fine print of the FCC licensing for the public safety bands they use...
