Trunking channels & Digital

Can anybody help me out with any frequencies for trunking in the Mankato area? Has anybody heard when they will be going digital, I need a new scanner, do I wait and get the new digitals now, or should I just stay with analog for my area, I don't find a lot of digital down here. Any word on turn over....

I don't know the time frame for sure. But eventually they will likely be going digital. If you don't find much for trunking on RR for mankato there probably isn't too much there, or at least much of real importance. In my opinion, if you don't come to the twin cities area very often, you might be better to stick with analog until your area makes the switch, then get the digital scanner. Otherwise you're just spending that extra money and really not getting anything in return since you cant utilize the digital functions in your area.
