SO if I was to go to Portland today then I should be able to hear all the trunking freqs. Right now I just have basic antenna on base radio, but I am gonna mount a big antenna on my roof.. I am on 45 mins from Portland so I would think with me being on a hill here in South Paris I should be able to pick up the trunking channels!!!

Don't expect to hear Portland in South Paris...800 mhz is limited, and not used much in Maine due to the dense vegetation, and many mountains..It works well though in an inner city
