I am tring to program (http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=3278 ) Lockheed Martin's communications into my Pro-96. I have entered the CC's into a seperate bank as MOT both for bank and each of the CC's. It does not scan/trunk. If manually tuned to the CC, I hear the buz saw but that's all. No voice com when scanning! I would appreciate any help you all could pass on to me. I'm using Win96 to program.
Thank you.....Regards.....Lyle

Believe you should enter all the frequencies not just the control channel frequencies.

You may also need/want to enter the talkgroup IDs and corresponding alpha tags

Trunking on a motorola system worked for me here.

EDIT:
My bank was in the open mode since I saw lots of unknown / and unprogrammed talkgroup ID's.
One specific ID however was never in the clear.

Returned the pro 2096 unit today and will get a Uniden BC396T instead (cant afford both or would keep just to have base and mobile units)
Overall performance was good but had some noticeable issues in 2 meter band with FM radio station interference even on stock antenna and using attenuation.
Urban environment lots of strong signals.

If you are scanning, is the bank in the open mode? That is, is there a plus sign (+) under the bank number? Assuming you have all the control channels programmed into the bank, and you're scanning the bank in open mode, it should work. If you aren't hearing any voice communications, is it possible that the system just isn't very busy, or it might be a long time between transmissions? If you listen to the voice frequencies in conventional mode, do you hear conversations?

If you watch the control channel does it show any talk groups popping up, is the bank set to motorola?

Since you are using Win96 to program the radio, zip up the file and post it here. Someone can look at it and see what the problem is.

I did post a reply, however I don't see it.
Thank you all for responding. I have set the mode to OPEN as suggested and now have comm in scan mode. The additional VC channels are not programmed in and it seems to now be working. One additional question though, the alpha tags:"Security" and/or "Maintenance" never appear on line four.
Thank you, regards.....Lyle
