I run Unitrunker 2.2.0.23 with trunking recorder. On digital transmissions the recorded audio is stuttered. listening live, this doesn't happen.

I can't attach an audio sample here, sorry.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

What platform are you running it on? What are the CPU/resource specs? Give some sort of information about your setup.

While my 6 cables don’t sound as good as using UT directly to the speakers, dxdiag did not indicate much. Latmon on the other hand said my system has some issues with audio. Fortunately that system is not my daily driver.

Maybe try that and post its results?

Interesting. I don't think running 3rd party software will fix this. I'll look at coconut and increase the latency on each of the 8 channels and see what happens.

Looking at coconut matrix output - its good. all 8 channels > Input into UT is clean. The problem is Trunking recorder.

It stutters.

But only on on digital modes. Analog is fine.

Its not going to fix anything. Its going to take a more in-depth look than that of dxdiag. It looks at many different things on the PC.

Not sure what coconut does/is, but input into UT? The cables take audio from UT and go to TR.

What does your VAC Control Panel look like? Showing any Buffer Over or Underflows?

You should be able to direct the output of the Virtual Audio Cable to the speakers in your sound settings. This can help isolate where the issue is.
