I just bought the whistler TRX-1 and locked myself out due to installing a password by mistake.
tried to install software by use of the cable and computer ( Windows 7 pro ) with no luck .
Any help that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.TRX-1

Not sure if this works....

Try initializing the SD card via card reader/computer, then putting the card back in the radio.

In EZ Scan software there is a pull down menu at the top under scanner/SD card and it has a selection to clear password.
