When I record DMR and I watch the scanner live, I see the color code and slot information. But.....when I playback the recording later, it does not show the color code and slot information. Is this a "setting" that I need to turn on/off to see the DMR info during playback or do I only get time/date/frequency information?

Thanks,

Update....just watched YouTube video of playback of DMR recording and it does not show color code slot info either....so guess that info is not recorded/available for playback. "Whistler TRX-2 DMR Los Angeles"<--------------Name/Title of YouTube video

There is a limit to what you see on playback within the radio. If I'm not mistaken, it doesn't display site info either.

If you copy the files into EZ Scan (Audio Tab), it provides ALOT of information about the recordings - yet another option/feature that "the other guys" don't supply at all (I have to be careful not to say negative things about "the other guys" to much or I'll get censored again ).

I find it's much more convenient to play the files back via PC. Many more features available such as sorting by talkgroup etc etc. I recently left mine recording for several hours on a couple different Connect Plus systems. Was very handy to sort the playback by talkgroup to help figure out who's who.
