Hi.

I'm looking for a log of the Bandplan changes for the TRX-1 in the UK - any changes performed in the step size allocation is particularly interesting to me. Does such a log exist?

Whistler where gathering info from local people from each country they wanted to support, to sell more E models. This is from a excel document with the info they had at that time. It might have been corrected after that. I know I changed a lot for Sweden depending of what could and what could not be done according to Whistler.

Attached are the bandplans for CPU 7.2

Shortly there will be a new CPU release 7.3 that will include some updates to the Netherlands bandplan plus 3 new country bandplans.

Thanks. Since the Steps cannot be changed, is it possible to load a new Bandplan from a V-folder?

Bandplans are set fixed in firmware are not part of V-folders which are only configurations. That's why Whistler needs to have people send them corrections and new info to add more country specific bandplans.

Thanks, Ubbe. There is a configuration in the Global Settings where the Bandplan can be changed, so I thought this could be included as part of a v-folder parameter. Never mind.

You thought correctly. As the selection of a bandplan are part of the configuration then it will be stored to a V-folder. But the actual data for the bandplan, and the special service scan frequencies and other things in the E model that doesn't exist in the US model, are part of the firmware.
