Do I need another wall adapter with this , I see they sell one for it at Amazon?????? I will run it off my big ant most off the time but want batteries charged if need to go outside etc. Thanks mu 1st post !!!!!!!

Does it come with one and is it ok ????
I know it comes with the cable but I'm not sure about the charger. I've had mine for 2 years now and have used my computer USB port, regular cigarette lighter charger, and home USB charger from my cellphone and have never had a problem with it.

Any reliable USB 5v output should work. If you check the forums, you will find that many scanner users prefer a good external charger for battery charging. Disable internal charging when you want to run the radio using USB power.
