TRX-2 Delay

Is there a way to adjust the "delay" between one conversation and its reply? And, what is the default delay time?

I am SURE that I will have more questions as I am totally new to this method of scanning, I'm still trying to figure out the EZScan software and use. It's hard for an old "f--" to step up to these methods!

Default is 2 seconds. The screen shot is for the conventional tab, however, it would be similar under the trunked radio tab under talk groups. Click the 2.0 (area I highlighted) and a slider will pop up. Just drag the slider to the number of seconds you want.

Lower delay times will speed up the scanning cycle. I find some I can go as low as 1 sec, others like some digital stuff I'm at 3 sec.

It depends on your taste and how fast the mic gets keyed up.

I know someone who sets all theirs at point 3sec, they prefer the scanner cycles back around faster and this works great with only few small scanlists.

You can select blocks of frequencies/talk groups by holding down shift and click at the first and last line of your selection and mark/unmark individual lines by holding down ctrl while clicking, standard Windows functions. Then you click on the Delay time of one line and you will change all selections at one go.

The users on the systems I monitor seems to first think through what they want to say before they push their transmit button so 7 sec are ideal for me or I will only hear fragments of conversations that make no sense to me.
